Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas / Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate :

Departure takes place in front of your hotel in Marrakech or at the famous Jemaa El Fna square next to the Al-Maghrib Bank (Bank of Morocco) and the Post Office towards Ouarzazate via the Tizi- N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. From Marrakech to Ouarzazate, you will enjoy a winding road, beautiful landscapes with different colors and Berber villages on the road between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. The next destination is a UNESCO world heritage site called “Ait Ben Haddou” classified since 1986, where few Berber families still live in this fortified Ksar and supported by UNESCO. Ait Ben Haddou is one of the many places serve as natural decoration for many movies that were shot in the area such as “Lawrence of Arabia and Jesus of Nazareth” Take a walk and cross the dry river with your guide to discover Ait Ben Haddou and overlook the kasbahs once you reach the top of the hill. Afterwards, you will head directly to Ouarzazate where you spend the first night in a typical Moroccan hotel. Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Skoura valleys / Dades / Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi) :

After breakfast, departure from your hotel in Ouarzazate at 8 am, taking the road of 1000 kasbahs, first reach Skoura palm grove where you will find most of the beautiful kasbahs of southern Morocco (Amerhidil Kasbah, Ait Abbou kasbah …). The next town is Kelaat Mgouna, a Berber town that celebrates the festival of roses every year, every first weekend of May is an opportunity for locals to meet and sell rose water and other products made from the rose. You will continue along the rose valley to Boumalen Dades, another Berber village on the road of 1000 kasbahs. 45 km more, you reach Tineghir with its beautiful palm grove, and the Jewish quarter. You follow the Todra Gorges, free time for lunch and hike along the canyons of about 300 m high. Later you will go to the dunes of Erg Chebbi in the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride for 1h30 at sunset to reach the oasis where the camp is located. Spend the night in the bivouac in the dunes of Merzouga Sahara under nomad tents or outside under the shooting stars. Drumming with the camel drivers. Dinner and overnight at the bivouac in the desert of Merzouga Sahara.

Day 3: Merzouga Erg Chebbi – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Fez :

Around 5h30 in the morning, you wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes, possibly the best moment of the desert of Merzouga, followed by a typical breakfast in the bivouac of Merzouga, then you can drive back to the camels, meet you driver and travel from Merzouga dunes to Fez through the beautiful Ziz Valley, Errachidia and Midelt. Lunch on the way and short break to see the monkeys in the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas near the town of Azrou to “Gourrou forests”. You will continue to Fez, where your tour ends from Marrakech to Fez.
